Not for people with fear of heights!
The fairly open construction with grating steps allows a view of the abyss.
However, without climbing the tower, the "five-lake view" dream loop is just a nice round trip through the forest because you cannot see the Rhine loops.

Five lakes view

The city of Boppard built the “Fünfseenblick” observation tower in 2013/14 with financial support from the European Commission and the State of Rhineland-Palatinate at a total cost of around EUR 350,000. The tower was designed by the Saxon engineer Lutz Müller, the first version of which was built on the Weifberg in Saxon Switzerland in 2000 with a height of 37 meters. The five-lake view tower is a total of 27.4 m high and has a diameter of 6.4 m. There are 126 steps to climb to the top. With a total length of 1,239 km between Basel and Rotterdam, the Rhine has a lot to offer. At Rhine kilometer 566 there is a special attraction: where else in the world can you see the Rhine as if it consisted of a chain of five lakes. The observation tower is on the stretch of the dream loop of the same name. The five-lake view dream loop is 10.4 kilometers long and overcomes 552 meters in altitude.
