When you are here, it is actually mandatory program to travel through the Weltenburger Enge with the excursion boat and to marvel at it powerfully. The impressive rock faces with such illustrious names as Räuberfelsen, Bavarian Lion and Napoleon's suitcase are absolutely worth seeing. By the way, also for cyclists: Instead of using a bike, it is worthwhile to enjoy the section from Weltenburg to Kehlheim by boat.

The Weltenburg Narrows is an impressive river canyon on the Lower Bavarian section of the Danube between Kelheim and the Kloster Weltenburg. The nature reserve, about 560 hectares, 5.5 kilometers long and about 400 meters wide, was already 1840 under Ludwig I designated as a natural monument. de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donaudurchbruch_bei_Weltenburg
