          Cismigiu Garden is the oldest public garden in Bucharest. It is located in the center of the city, has an area of ​​about 16 hectares and is bordered by two important arteries: Regina Elisabeta Boulevard and Schitu Măgureanu Boulevard. In the south-eastern part of the garden is the Gheorghe Lazăr National College. Cismigiu Garden is arranged in the manner of English parks and has several entrances: two through Regina Elisabeta Boulevard, two through Schitu Măgureanu Boulevard, one through Știrbei Vodă Street. It is listed on the list of historical monuments in Bucharest with B-II-a-A-19655.
          On one alley is the marble monument in honor of French soldiers from the First World War. Other monuments of the garden: the bust of Maica Smara, Gheorghe Panu, Izvorul Sissi Stefanidi.
          In the Garden of Cismigiu there is a special place, La Cetate, where are the ruins of a monastery built by the logophat Văcărescu in 1756, from which a secret tunnel started that connected the Cretulescu Palace to the hidden bank of Dâmbovița.
