You can look at the exhibitions inside the building, but you can also take part in guided tours outside in the forest.

The Steigerwald center is open from April to October from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. From November to March, the doors are open to you from Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Below the terrace there is a nice playground for the children. In the center you can buy coffee and cake and enjoy it on the terrace with a view of the Stollberg.
You can pick up a free welcome bag for the children at the information desk. It contains interesting things that bring the forest closer, that children should deal with and deal with the forest. Our daughter enjoyed it, more will not be revealed 😉
