The Città di Mariano bivouac is located at 2,800 meters above sea level on the eastern side of the Cime Bianche, between Val d'Ayas and Valtournenche.
Inside there are 9 beds and a table with benches. The bivouac is supplied with blankets, mattresses and dishes. Sometimes it is possible to find canned food, medicines or other goods left by previous visitors.
From here you can enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets and, with a bit of luck, you may find yourself in the company of chamois and ibex.
