Hydraulic Historical Trail Krummbach

200 years ago, the monks of the nearby monastery walked along the Krummbach stream, praying their breviary deep in thought. Today the route is populated by families with children playing and people looking for recreation.

The Krummbachweg with its centuries-old giant trees is one of the most beautiful promenades in Upper Swabia. Accompanying information boards present the unique testimony of monastic hydraulic engineering, which once served not only for spiritual edification, but at the same time for water supply, sewage disposal and energy production.

Directly on the Krummbach there is an adventure forest for children and families: in the hedge labyrinth, on the barefoot path, while watching the small biotopes and on the viewing platform, young and old children experience the forest and its life forms very close.

The turnoff in the Krummbach, which leads to the adventure forest, is signposted.

Year-round easy to walk and beautifully laid out path along the Krumbach.

Also suitable for "bad weather tours" as there are no difficulties with the route.

And afterwards in one of the numerous cafes; either directly in or at the monastery or in Ox-City.... 😉
