The Maaßener Gaipel stamping station offers several things: a great panoramic view of Lautenthal. Mining history you can touch - if you like, you can take the mining trail from Lautenthal up to Maaßener Gaipel. A stamping station of the HWN and the stamping station is also part of the Wildemanner hiking badge. And: there is also a restaurant. What more could you want?!

Hi everybody, the Maaßner Gaipel is described by other members sufficiently and well. A hint maybe, the hike can also start at Maaßner Gaipel. Parking in about 20 meters away by car. From here, the circular hiking trail, all signposted can be migrated.
At the time of my hike Resturant was open, Italian cuisine. Opening hours ... Stand on the day of my hike daily Monday to Sunday 10.00- 21.00. If you are interested in stopping, maybe call 05325 5467114

The Maaßener Gaipel is a former mining house and operating building of the Maaßen mine.
Today it is a hiking restaurant with a great view of the small mining town and state-approved climatic health resort of Lautenthal.

The view of Lautenhal is simply breathtakingly beautiful. There is also pizza, which is okay, and a stamp for the Harzer hiking nobility.

And the tiles in the toilet, they might make for a psychedelic experience. 😂

The Maaßener Gaipel is stamp point 107 of the Harz hiking badge. The hiking restaurant is on the Gaipel. The view of the small, beautiful mountain town of Lautenthal when you sit outside and eat is breathtaking!
There is a small playground next to the restaurant and in front of it there is the beer tunnel.
