Neuruppin Paulinenauer station was the 1901 to 1930 operating endpoint of the Paulinenaue-Neuruppiner railway in Neuruppin. In timetables he was referred to only as Neuruppin, as well as about the same time opened Neuruppin station of the Kremmen-Wittstock railway, the later main station of the city. The Paulinenauer station replaced the further south, opened in 1880, the first station of the Paulinenaue-Neuruppiner railway, which was also then used for freight.

The oldest connection to Berlin departed from Paulinenauer Bahnhof, on the edge of the barracks area. Today there is a pharmacy and a medical center in the city's train station
