    The market square is one of the most beautiful places in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. The town hall, the collegiate church, the Scheffelhaus and other interesting historical buildings are located here.

                    THE MARKET SQUARE With its collegiate church, “Scheffelhaus” and town hall, it has been a magnificent backdrop for all kinds of markets since the Middle Ages (Tuesdays and Saturdays, and Thursdays in summer) with a large selection of fresh Palatinate products. In summer, wine bars and bistros lure visitors under the umbrellas, and in Advent the square is transformed into the atmospheric Kunigunde Christmas market, open daily.
