    Very nice place to stop. During our lunch break we treated ourselves to the bacon dumplings with beef goulash. Then there was a Kaiserschmarrn. Delicious!

                                      An alpine pasture with real mountain pastures and well-maintained South Tyrolean huts in the Sarntal Alps in southern South Tyrol. Already in the second generation, we run the livestock and iron and steel industry Möltner Kaser here on the Salten, the sunny high plateau far above the Adige Valley.
                                      There is a lot to discover all around. Cattle, sheep and Haflinger horses graze on the alpine meadows. From the first crocuses in mid/late April to the blooming of alpine roses in midsummer to the autumn crocuses in October, there is actually always hiking and flowering time in the Sarntal Alps. And when winter comes, it's time for happy tobogganing and long snowshoe hikes.

                                      You can reach the Möltner Kaser on foot on well-signposted hiking trails from the following car parks:
                                      Schermoos car park, Mölten (1,444 m)
                                      Kircheben car park, Mölten (1,352 m)
                                      Sattlerhütte, Mölten (1,606 m), only accessible by car in winter
