Beautiful Lenné Park with an impressive collection of old deciduous trees. Be prepared for work to be carried out in the park or at the castle - in recent years, spades have been swung here from time to time. But the park is definitely worth a visit, because the grandeur of the complex is always palpable.

Not a single bench found in the park today. I find that the park is quite neglected and I don't really see any reason to stay here longer. The bridge that was demolished will probably not be rebuilt. The castle is completely surrounded by a construction fence and all information boards about this building and the park have been removed.

As of October 2019: The Schlosspark Dahlwitz is currently closed. However, if you come across the bridge from the east, there is no indication and you are then in front of the closed exit gate in the north. Save the detour and run around the park around it.

The castle is cordoned off with site fences, but the park is accessible. Several benches - July, 1:30 p.m. unfortunately all in the blazing sun - invite you to linger.

Unfortunately it has been very neglected in recent years. There is no seating to relax and enjoy nature. Completely overgrown after the bridge on the eastern side of the park was demolished.
