                  The Strandvonder - Simon Gutker (The Beach Comber), John Bier 1993
                  One of the more famous images of John Bier is that of beachcomber Simon Gutker (1897-1988), which was placed at the end of the Hondsbossche Seawall near Camperduin. In October 2010 (& 2015), vandals tried to cut this image, presumably for the sale of the bronze. The statue will be restored. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Bier
