      The Lichtenstein Cave, formerly called Rotkamp Cave, is a 115 m long and narrow cave in the Lichtenstein mountain near Osterode, discovered in 1972.
      Cave explorers came across a previously unknown part in 1980 and found the remains of people from the late Bronze Age in it. In the examinations, which were only completed in 2011, the well-preserved bones of around 65 to 70 individuals were found.
