    The Wormsgraben, also called Wormkegraben, is a 2.4 km long hillside ditch in the Harz Mountains between the Wormke and the Zillierbach.
    It flows near Schierke and Drei Annen Hohne, two districts of Wernigerode, in the Harz district of Saxony-Anhalt.
    The ditch is probably the oldest transitional slope ditch in the Harz Mountains.
    It was probably created between the 12th and 14th centuries.
    Hydrographically, it is considered to be the stronger source water of the Zillierbach and not its natural source stream as the upper reaches of the longer Holtemme tributary.

      The Harz forests in particular were hit hard in 2019. Tree to tree lies on the road between Drei Annen Hohne and Schierke. Sometimes there are three on top of each other. In some parts of the forest, the hurricane laid everything flat and cut up to 300 meters wide aisles. The forest is like a battlefield. The spruces had little hold in the soaked soil and tipped like matches in the hurricane.
