Best way:
From Thaur take Langgasse, which ends in a paid car park where you can park easily.
From there on the forest road northwards, steadily uphill, a total of 8 hairpin bends.
In the uppermost area, just below the hut, there is a short, quite steep section with rough material, which takes a bit of strength, but can certainly be mastered.
Caution is also required on the descent in this area, steep, rugged terrain at the edge of the path.
All in all, a nice tour, exclusively in the forest, on a road that quickly gains altitude.

From here, a short ascent to the Thaurer Roßkopf with an even more beautiful view of the Inn Valley is possible. Cross with summit book about 20 minutes from the Alm. Afterwards, of course, stop at the alpine pasture and let yourself be spoiled with delicacies from Carmen!
