Gengenbach has a great old town, many half-timbered houses and is a lively town on the Kinzig. Surrounded by vineyards, Gengenbach is a perfect place for a break.

Gengenbach is a pretty town with many beautiful half-timbered houses. It's no wonder that the town is located on the German Half-Timbered House Route. In the charming old town, many street cafés invite you to linger. A highlight during Advent is the town hall, which with its 24 windows is quickly turned into the largest Advent calendar in the world.
