Gengenbach is a pretty town with many beautiful half-timbered houses. It's no wonder that the town is located on the German Half-Timbered House Route. In the charming old town, many street cafés invite you to linger. A highlight during Advent is the town hall, which with its 24 windows is quickly turned into the largest Advent calendar in the world.

Gengenbach is always worth a visit. The city captivates with its enchanting half-timbered houses, the city gates and the flair. You should definitely visit the castle herb and flower garden, which is definitely worth it. At Christmas time, the city is enchanted by a sea of lights. Don't forget Engelsgasse. At the market square there is a hustle and bustle around the gastronomic offer, where you can enjoy it with pleasure.

Gengenbach is located at the entrance to the Kinzig Valley.
A town with a medieval townscape, lots of half-timbered houses, city walls and towers. In the middle of the town is a former Benedictine monastery with a wonderful herb garden that is definitely worth a visit.
The center of the town is the market square with the town hall, its numerous cafes and shops that invite you to stroll or linger.
