It's not entirely clear why this spot is called "Thuringian View." But yes, it reminds me of Thuringia. The name is fitting, and a detour is a must if you're in the area anyway.

The Thüringer Blick is a rest area and vantage point from which you have a great view of the surroundings of Bad Freienwalde. In terms of landscape, you really feel reminded of areas such as Thuringia from this vantage point.
The Thuringian view is a beautiful destination for hikes and invites you to linger and rest.
