I was impressed from the very first moment by the imposing Lutheran St. Petri Church from the early 12th century with its impressive tower. In fact, the Romanesque-Gothic style of the church that faces the central market square is a "new building" from 1232. This gem was built on the foundations of its predecessor, which is around 110 years older. Of course there are more details on Wikipedia (de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St.-Petri-Kirche_(Westerstede)).
