In August I visited the nature and environmental park with my parents. Despite the discount, this adventure park is certainly one of the expensive ones. Nevertheless, you also get a lot on offer. Puzzles to participate in, active learning games and well-explained information boards are lovingly provided. The whole thing has a museum-educational effect and allows some of the rusty knowledge from school to be refreshed. The snack stand next to the playground invites you to grab a little refreshment. Would love to come here again at any time.

The wildlife park is one of the most beautiful in MV. It is designed in a varied way and has a lot of exciting things in store for young and old. Lots of play options and benches, plus the family entry ticket, make the park a great destination for families.
As far as we have seen, the animals have spacious enclosures and can retreat easily. We also found the underwater tunnel particularly beautiful.
You should definitely plan plenty of time for a visit! :)

We visited this zoo in November 2009 and loved it. Unfortunately, the bears were in the resting phase, but here I saw a wildcat for the first time. This in the wild, almost never. The wolf pack very close and the boars very bustling. Yes, it costs money, and for a family, that's not all, but it's worth it considering the prices in amusement parks. If you are in Güstrow you should consider a visit. It supports the people there.

This park is absolutely worth a visit! Entry costs € 13.00 for adults.
Be sure to see the wolf, lynx & wildcat enclosure. Thanks to special paths and tunnels, you can walk directly through the enclosures and be very close to the animals!

These enclosures, together with the bear enclosure, have been given the name "Raubtier-WG".

Thanks to the well thought-out tunnels and paths built above the ground, you can get very close to the animals. I could approach the wolves up to about two meters!

These enclosures are the absolute highlight of the M-V wildlife park!

This wildlife park is the real splendor!
The animals are predominantly found in M-V.
The large enclosures of wolves, lynxes and wildcats are particularly impressive. Through the enclosures you can enter the tunnels and catwalks almost directly and therefore be very close (I was sometimes only two meters away from the wolves!).
However, you have to be very good on foot for it, because the path consists partly of chains, ropes ...
The entire park is very modern and very well maintained and the staff extremely friendly!

Although the bears were 11/19 in hibernation, I was able to admire one while sleeping through narrow slits.
The enclosure was "empty of bears", but one could admire two wolves.

The wildlife park in Güstrow is definitely worth it. The rather high entrance fee is also quite justified, as you are in the middle of it rather than just there. Many of the enclosures can be entered or walked through viewing tunnels, platforms and elevated paths. So you're on a first-name basis with owls, parakeets, lynxes, wolves and the like. The park's grounds are wonderfully designed to be close to nature and are very spacious, so you'll be busy for quite a while. What I think is particularly great is that there is a lot of emphasis on education. There are easy-to-understand display boards everywhere and exhibitions that you can touch and participate in. A huge aquarium complex with a viewing tunnel runs through the environmental center and various educational opportunities are offered for schools, kindergartens, etc.
My personal highlight was the mouse house, lovingly designed like a doll's house, mouse life is like the life of a maggot in bacon ☺️
