A short hike south of the Pommelsbrunn S-Bahn station, steep but very beautiful. Best Monday to Friday first thing in the morning – you can usually enjoy the cool, fresh air and the silence all to yourself.

I find the Mühlkoppe even more beautiful as a vantage point and photo spot than the Hohle Fels. The energy on the Mühlkoppe is so peaceful. In contrast to the High Rock, there was no one there.

There is a summit cross and a bench with the best view of the opposite peaks and the valley to Pommelsbrunn.

A few meters further along the path there is a second bench. I will certainly visit the Mühlkoppe again soon. That's how she impressed me.

Simply ingeniously attainable! The S-Bahn stops right at the start of the tour. You can enjoy the peaks or miss without much detours. There are many variations and possibilities for a very personal tour. And a stop-off opportunity is always available until the next or the next S-Bahn departure. The cycle is happy if you deserve the delicious delicacies by altitude! 😅
