        When taking a detour to the Schweinsberg you will find the less crowded alpine trails. The detour is worth, if one is not busy with the Breitenstein alone.

            The ascent from the Kesselalm to the Schweinsberg begins almost "boringly". But at the point where you have a great view over to the Wendelstein, it starts to get very rough.
            At the summit you have a wonderful all-round view.
            If the ascent was rough, the descent is poisonous. Steep and narrow as it is, it requires extreme surefootedness and very healthy knees.

                A summit that is always in the "shadow" of the Breitenstein. All the more beautiful, however, since it is usually quieter here on the summit than in the neighboring mountains.
