The Saint-Pilon chapel is located above the Sainte-Baume cave at an altitude of 994 meters. It is at the top of the ridge and close to the GR 98. It benefits from a wide panoramic view and is a popular stopover for hikers.

Very busy especially on weekends and holidays. You can do the beginning in two ways. An easier path or steps to the top. Also only the Grotte is worth it.

The hike to the Grotte Sainte-Marie-Madeleine is a highlight in this area.
Anyone who has managed the climb to the grotto should definitely continue up to the Chapelle du Saint-Pilon via the "conditionally well-developed" path with lots of steps and stones. At the top you will be rewarded with a wonderful and (almost) panoramic view and the chapel, which invites you to take a break.
