Pålsjöbaden is a cold bathhouse at the end of Strandvägen in the north of Helsingborg, which was opened in 1909 by the well plant Hälsan. In the years 1922-1955 there was a tram connection to Pålsjöbaden. Since its current construction, the bath has been associated with the bathhouse and has been run under the name Pålsjö Krog since 2018.
The bathing area itself consists of a jetty protruding from the beach, branched in the form of a Y, with the two branches leading to each part of the bath, the ladies' section in the south and the men's section in the north. The various sections consist of a series of interconnected bathing cabins whose small pitched roofs together form a sawtooth silhouette. From the sheltered bathing cabins, the bathing jetty faces the sound with a staircase into the water. Towards the middle of the bath each section has a larger building with a sauna and showers. All buildings are made of yellow painted landscape wood panel with white painted details and black cardboard roof. Towards Drottninggatan are two buildings, including a lunch pavilion. These are also in yellow painted wooden board with white details. From the glazed pavilion you have a view of the bathhouse, but also parts of the sound. Between the restaurant and the bath house is a sandy beach, where you can swim.
