In the old town of Sindelfingen you will find very urban and representative buildings, such as the Altes Rathaus/Salzhaus from 1470/1592, Lange Straße 13 Hintere Gasse 2. Sindelfingen has a small but very characteristic old town with about 100 half-timbered houses from the 14th, 15th and 16th century that you just have to see. The old town of Sindelfingen is still an attraction.

“Sindelvingen” was an agricultural settlement or “farmers’ town”. The houses had a very special shape in some places due to the barn part and the inner-city plot structure, as shown by the farm complex at Hintere Gasse 9 from 1506. In the old town you can also find very urban and representative buildings, such as the “Old Town Hall/Salt House” ensemble from 1470/1592, Lange Straße 13/Hintere Gasse 2. Sindelfingen has a small but very distinctive old town with around 100 half-timbered buildings from the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries that are simply a must-see. The old town and the monastery district with St. Martin’s Church in Sindelfingen are still an attraction of very special importance today.
