The palace was built in the second half of the 19th century by the Alawids and is today one of the most beautiful sights of Marrakech.
The rooms are unfortunately all empty, but you can admire the mix of Andalusian and Moorish architecture: graceful stucco, intricately carved cedar ceilings, ornate mosaics and ornate arabesques.
The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
