Above the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, a wind blows daily, literally knocking you over. It takes a bit of suffering to observe the scenery. The thorough Indus mingles reluctantly with the chocolate-colored Zanskar, creating a phase boundary between the rivers.
Nearby you can also admire the "Magnetic Hill". According to the Indians, you should roll uphill at this special place without your own help. Electromagnetic Voodoo is said to be responsible. To begin with, in fact, nothing rolls up there, but because of a visual illusion, the road merely appears as if it is going uphill. Nevertheless, it is a funny gimmick to deceive one's own perception, because it actually feels very strange.
