The Amalieneiche, probably named after the late deceased wife of Duke Friederike Elisabeth Amalie, was considered to be the oldest and most impressive in Hasbruch at 1250 years old. On February 10, 1982, she overthrew. Their remains can still be visited today.

With a circumference of over 10 m, the Amalieneiche was the most powerful tree in Hasbruch until its collapse on February 10, 1982. The age estimates vary between 1000 and 2000 years. Unfortunately, only a few remnants of this giant remain today.
