There is a stone observation tower at the top of the Devil's Rock. If you climb up, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the mountains, hills and valleys of the Hunsrück from the covered viewing platform.

A very nice panorama and a great place to stay. There is a good view from the tower. The newly built log cabin is unique. Lovingly furnished and decorated. Space to sit, sleep and enjoy the time.
The USB charging sockets in the sleeping area are a small treat.

The Teufelsfels (569 m), on the Lützelsoon ridge, is the largest and certainly one of the most interesting of the four large quartzite hard rocks and is designated as a natural monument. It is located between the villages of Schneppenbach, Bruschied and Hennweiler. Until the 1960s, the rock could be climbed with an anchored iron ladder. Due to the weathering of the stone, this was no longer possible from 1975, and the local community of Hennweiler considered building a lookout tower:
The realization of the stone tower took place in 1984/85 on the initiative of the local mayor Heinrich Heimfahrt. That is why the Teufelsfels lookout tower is popularly known as "Langer Heinrich". The tower is 14 m high and stands at 568 m altitude. A concrete staircase with 54 steps leads to its covered viewing platform at a tower height of 10.8 m. From there you have a view over the Hunsrück with the Lützelsoon, over the densely wooded heights of the Idar, Hochwald and Soonwald to the Donnersberg in the North Palatinate Uplands.

At the Teufelsfels lookout point there is also a shelter which provides drinks. The hike to the Teufelsfels can be started from the sports field in Hennweiler or the Schützenhaus in Hennweiler.
