Beautiful route that leads you through lush greenery on paved paths behind the dike. Every now and then you can also enjoy the view of the Oste from the dike.

Unfortunately, you don't see much of the Oste, unless you get off your bike and go up the dike. The path is also used by residents / holidaymakers with cars and is sometimes quite narrow when bikes have to be overtaken or come towards you.

Great bike path (paved) from Großenwörden to the east. Wonderful thatched roof houses. Paved bike path from east to Oberndorf, barely good.

The right side of the Oste is significantly more beautiful, as the path leads directly along the dike. Take the time to take a look at it every now and then.
