For this hiking trail you have to be free from giddiness and sure-footed. Sturdy footwear is a prerequisite. Then the path is a real adventure. In addition, the path has hardly been walked. I have not met anyone. In 1-2 places the way took overcoming.

Beautiful ridge path, not for people with a fear of heights. Surefootedness is required, the path is in some places - 40 to 50 cm wide.

This section is one of the most beautiful on the traverse to e.g. Bad Münstereifel. It runs on a crest with some rocky passages and beautiful moss and tree cover. As the beginning of the track a real treat.

Unfortunately extremely overgrown at the moment (July 2022). The path itself is a highlight, but difficult to access. The way down is even worse overgrown. Trying to use a bypass wasn't trivial either, due to growths and paths just stopping.

The wonderful path has been cleared again! The path is a little unclear in the upper section. Small trunks from clearings lie across the path, you get the feeling that someone wants to keep people out of here.

No trail markings, but the path is clearly visible. August 2025, not overgrown. A narrow, rocky ridge with steep drops on both sides, exposed sections, making it quite dangerous. We were able to complete the path without any problems, using our hands only in a few places.
Not a hiking trail, but a challenging trail.

The Zweitälerweg leads over the mountain ridge between the Vischelbach and Sahrbach valleys. Especially just before Kreuzberg, there are a few rocky outcrops to climb up and down. But it's very impressive for the area.
