The Belgium Pier offers a unique opportunity to experience the impressive expanse of the North Sea, the changing tides, and the raw power of nature up close.
The first pier, a cast-iron structure, was built in 1894 but burned down by the Germans in 1914. A new concrete pier was built in 1933 and extensively renovated in 2003. In 2023, the walkway was faithfully reconstructed in its original form from 1933.
