The Arboretum Wolfsburg (also Arboretum der Stadt Wolfsburg) is located on Brunnen- und Quellenweg in the city forest near the Rabenberg district of Wolfsburg, next to the Tommyquelle and the Stemmelbach.
The arboretum was created in the early 1990s.
On May 15, 2013, the arboretum was redesigned and inaugurated in the presence of the Mayor of Wolfsburg, Klaus Mohrs, and the President of the Lower Saxony State Forests, Klaus Merker, and guests from politics, business and associations.
In the opening speech, Klaus Mohrs said, among other things: "The forest is a pleasant contrast to the plannability of the city," and he thanked everyone who worked on the project.
