    Extremely beautiful landscape. I like the Birk especially in drizzle or light fog. Not only because she is not so heavily frequented, but because she radiates such a wonderful atmosphere and you can ground yourself. Try it once when it rains.

          Salt marshes, regionally also known as Heller, Inge, or Groden, are stands of herbaceous plants (salt plant vegetation) that are periodically or irregularly flooded by the sea. They form the natural transition and biological boundary between land and sea on tidal alluvial soft substrate soils (alluvial soils). According to German mapping guidelines, these are classified as the semi-terrestrial soil type of raw marsh.

          Salt marshes or salt marshes are found worldwide, in temperate climates on low-current, flat coasts near the mean high-tide lines, and in tropical climates with appropriate geomorphological conditions as mangrove forests. The species-rich communities of salt plants (halophytes) and the animals living in salt marshes are highly adapted to the flooding and high salinity of the seawater and the soil.
