At the front of the Auesee (closer to Wesel) there is a beach with sunbathing areas and, when the weather is nice, there is a lot of hustle and bustle. If you drive towards Flüren, you will pass a mini golf course and it becomes increasingly quiet. You drive towards a park bench where you have the opportunity to get very close to the Auesee. A small pebble beach allows you to dip your feet into the cool water.

Please do not take a detour to the nearby Grafinsel (K
campsite), unless you like such a huge, impersonal place.
