The steel observation deck was completed in 2014 and was named "Járnkarlinn", which means something like "Iron Man". From here you can see the rock pillar "Stóri Karl", one of the largest colonies of gannets in Iceland. Other seabirds such as razorbills, guillemots and puffins can also be observed up close.
In May and June you can also see egg pickers at work here.
