With the high blue or the blue you climb the highest peak of the Markgräflerland with its altitude of 1,167 meters. There are various theories surrounding the naming of the mountain. One variant assumes that the blue color of the pine forests has given the mountain its name. On the wooded summit, there is the radio tower, which can be seen from afar, which is not accessible. However, you can overlook from the second, smaller tower of the beautiful Black Forest panorama.

Absolutely visit at sunrise, a wonderful view towards Belchen and the entire Black Forest and also a great view of the Vosges. If you are lucky and the conditions fit you can even see the Alps.
