The Grundmühle, built in 1794, can be found in the idyllic Weißbachtal, in the district of Töttelstädt. The mill is one of the most popular excursion destinations in the vicinity of Erfurt.
Grundmüller Matthias Eichhorn, the current owner, acquired the mill in 1991.
Whether hikers or cyclists, whether summer or winter - a visit to the Grundmühle is always worthwhile!

That with the stamp office is really a great idea. The Grundmühle is open Saturday to Sunday from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and in addition to the great range of food there is also the delicious Friday beer 💚🙏🦊

Very nice hut located in the forest. With great catering options from bread platters, soups, cakes, etc. There is also a nice, large water wheel. An excursion that is highly recommended.

It's crazy, the Grundmühle is in the middle of "nowhere". There are no parking spaces directly at the Grundmühle, but at least 4 km away. We were there at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and it was well filled with young and old.
