Beautiful vantage point with great charisma. Was probably already used in the early history as a cult place.
Was also inhabited at times. According to a legend, a nobleman and horse fell to their deaths, pursued by peasants.

The Christenstein is just outside of Heilgersdorf. Immediately at the end of the village it goes uphill until you reach the Christenstein after approx. 500 m. The Christenstein is a massive boulder from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of Heilgersdorf and the surrounding area. The location also offers itself for an extensive rest. There is a lot going on here in summer and especially on weekends.
