Think of a sun hat, at 38 degrees we had sunstroke and take enough water with you - after the last café before the summit there is no more water source for about 6KM ... in the heat ...

Various tours pass the Valbona Pass. The pass is also part of the "Peaks of Balkan" path. You can go as a day tour from Valbona or from Theth up to the pass. In warm weather it is more pleasant to start from Theth. You walk 80% in the shade, while you move in the sun, when starting from Valbona up to the pass high, 80%. It is also possible to travel from Theth to Valbona (7 hours on foot) and back the next. There are enough places to stay in Theth and Valbona.
