Very easy to ride trail. I rode through everything easily on the gravel bike. Just lower the saddle a bit and let it roll. :)

The trail is finished on July 14, 2019, the Transalp with 1000 participants went down here, the path is perfectly laid out and retracted. A dream to shut down. 😁

It is a so-called shared trail for hikers and MTB, the steep and narrow switchbacks with many hairpin bends are in the lower part. There are also two extremely steep sections with loose ground that can only be overcome with an e-bike by pushing. Advanced driving technique is also required for the descent! Further up you will find a plaque commemorating a plane crash along the way.

New path laid out, can be pushed up very well and even cycled in parts. If you don't already have 3000 meters of altitude in your legs, you can certainly cycle almost the whole way. Around 60 bends to the top, all very sharp. Around 700 meters of altitude

A great descent with about 550m of elevation and a length of 4km.
Beautiful nature, you drive straight through a waterfall and with a bit of luck you can even see marmots on the way

The 65 curve descent is definitely nice, but the old descent right through the middle would also have its appeal. I would wish that we would take care of both variants when skiing, i.e. the blue-red 65 curve descent and the rather black old trail, which is unfortunately very overgrown at the moment. Whining at a high level :-D because the area is wonderful.

65 hairpin bends - what more words are needed! Cool down, high I don't necessarily want it - then prefer the Hintertuxer WEg up to the Tuxer Joch and down here!

65 hairpin bends + fantastic weather - what more words are needed!
It's a dream to go down, but I don't want to have to go up because it's a bit depressing when some of the hairpin bends are labeled with numbers and you know what to expect.
It's better to do it like we did, take the Hintertuxer Weg up to the Tuxer Joch and stop off at the Alm and then go back down with a full stomach.

The narrower and steeper serpentines are in the lower part of the shared trail from and to the Tuxer Joch. Two extreme climbs with sharp hairpin bends cannot be tackled with an e-bike either, pushing a few meters is the order of the day, advanced riding technique is required on the descent, especially there!
