Very nice lookout tower in Calauer Switzerland, in the immediate vicinity of the village of Weißag. The hiking trail leads from Gaumers Gasthof uphill to the viewpoint. Beautiful section of forest and lots of nature. The tower was built from innumerable clinker bricks from the Wieneberg clinker plant in Buchwäldchen. A total of 470 layers of stones reach a height of up to 43 meters. The observation deck is at a height of 38 meters. To reach the platform you have to climb 216 steps.
