This is where Himmelpfort got its name from. In the 13th century, the Cistercian monastery "Coeli Porta" (Heaven's Gate) was founded by Margrave Albrecht. Although the centuries have not been kind to it, there are still some remains to be seen here, and with a little imagination you can imagine the old monastery complex.

Former monastery complex with the ruins of the monastery church built at the beginning of the 14th century. The Protestant parish church was built in the eastern part of the church in 1663.
