pretty dangerous, no safety equipment and it goes down steeply. A real challenge with heavy e-bikes. There was quite a lot of water today and if you push the bike outside and walk up against the wall, you'll get completely soaked by the waterfall.

I was there in June 2024 and couldn't cross the waterfall. On the one hand, the part was no longer secured/supported and on the other hand, the amount of water was so great that the risk of being swept away was too great for me. We then drove through the tunnel to Livigno (after turning back). There, the shuttle driver said that the pass would no longer be repaired because it was considered too dangerous. (I can't judge whether this is true) In any case, I would avoid the Gallo Pass as long as the snow melts.
