The Hummel workshop is located here on the outskirts of Naumburg, in the middle of the idyllic Elbe meadows. Those interested in nature can find out all sorts of interesting facts about bumblebees, bees, ants and insects that live solitarily, i.e. do not form a colony.

The bumblebee workshop is a paid (EUR 3 per person) area with a large wooden hut with an ant colony and some display boards, as well as a garden. The Hummel workshop is only open in the summer months. In winter, however, at least the gardens can be entered free of charge and legally. There are numerous information boards on site about bumblebees, but also about other pollinators. Since in many places there are only bee trails, this bumblebee training is a very informative and successful change. A visit is therefore worthwhile, even if the entrance fee for the very small garden area is rather high. A meadow orchard right next door does not belong directly to the Hummel workshop. The Habichtswaldsteig runs directly over this meadow. There are also good information boards here. If you want to read everything, you should bring about 20 minutes with you.
