This Dutch windmill can be visited. The mill has recently been powered by a diesel engine. During guided tours, the functionality is explained, the mill wheel runs and everything works.

On Mill Day and elsewhere, bread is baked in the large oven. Not far from here is the Nobel Youth Hostel Petershagen.

On the southern outskirts of the old town of Petershagen, the Büschingsche windmill stands idyllically on the slope of the Weser bank. Grain has been ground here for more than 100 years. This Dutch windmill was built in 1810.

The Büschings Mühle Petershagen was built in 1810. The Wallholländer windmill has an octagonal tower made of boarded and shingled timber framework on a stone substructure and is enthroned on a heaped-up earth wall. It has blind wings and a wind rose. Drive of the functional shot gear with wind and diesel engine (year of construction: 1925).
