The Lower Remstal has a rich bird life with over 150 bird species and is therefore also part of the European Natura 2000 network of protected areas.

For me, the most beautiful terraced cultivation on this route. The first terraced slopes are located directly after Waiblingen and line the slopes along the way. But fruit cultivation has been abandoned on most of the terraces and is lying fallow and/or overgrown.
