Located in the municipality of Entracque, it is a lake also used for fishing, has a special picnic area with paid parking and is the starting point for the excursion to the Chiotas and Brocan lakes and for the Genova Figari refuge.

The lake is large and suitable for swimming. On the shore right at the foot of the mountain there is a "not equipped" and inexpensive campsite, which is compulsory to book, especially in the summer season and on weekends. There is also a small bar with resale of essential goods and souvenirs. Two different paths lead up to the Genova refuge: one longer and less steep, also suitable for inexperienced walkers and (with some care) for children and strollers, and the other very steep, but also significantly shorter.
