From the path along the Amper you can see Castle Geiselbullach through the gate in the wall. Unfortunately, it is now privately owned and cannot be viewed.

Bavaria's Elector Max Emanuel gave his Hofkammerrat Johann Adam Geisler a large area in the field at the "Buelach" (presumably a beech forest is meant) near the Amper for management in 1724 and also awarded him the nobility title of Geiselbullach. Geisler built a castle there with a fenced park, a large chapel in honor of St. John Nepomuk and houses for dependent "farmers" and craftsmen. Frequently changing successors probably lacked the skill for the economic management of the estate. Only the merchant Alois Sabbadini from Udine seems to have possessed the necessary economic sense. The tower for the chapel was built under his time in 1816, which a former castle owner, the court painter Johann Adam von Schöpf, had painted in the finest rococo. In 1891 Adolf Scheller bought the castle, which burned down in 1894. 1895 saw the construction of today's palace. In 1918 the Raadts family, originally from Hungary, acquired the castle estate. Ernst Raadts turned it into a model company. In 1947 he also became district administrator of the district of Fürstenfeldbruck. The Stürzer family has owned the castle since 1964 and has extensively restored the property. The former castle chapel of St. Johann Nepomuk now belongs to the city of Olching and was renovated in 2017.[1]
