The Former Masuda House is a thatched-roof farmhouse built in the early Meiji era (about 130 years ago) in the corner of "Sakura grass Buenooka" in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture.
It was relocated from Chiba City in about 2 years from 1990.
It appeared in the film "ICHI City" starring Haruka Ayase in 2008, "Golden Scenery", a movie of Osamu Dazai's novel.
