    Henrhyd Falls is the highest waterfall in South Wales and is a breathtaking sight to behold. The stunning waterfall plunges 90 feet (27 m) into a wooded gorge. It is possible to walk behind the waterfall but take care as the rocks can be slippery.

    Graig Llech Wood surrounds the waterfall and is home to much wildlife. Keep a lookout for birds such as woodpeckers, tree creepers, warblers and wrens. The damp and heavily wooded gorge is also a haven for mosses, liverworts and lichen. For this reason, it is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The area is managed by the National Trust.

      It takes about 10 minutes to reach the waterfall from the car park. There is also a trail along the valley that takes about one hour which passes several other waterfalls.

        Henrhyd Falls in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales, is the tallest waterfall in southern Wales with a drop of 90 feet. It lies on National Trust land, in the traditional county of Brecknockshire. The nearest settlement to it is Coelbren, on the road between Glynneath and Abercraf.

            Famous hideout for the famous bat man film 2012 dark night rises this fall was used has bat the entrance to the bat cave!! I've seen it in better swing of flow but this time was very slow flow still stunning place to see.

                      It's actually a lot quieter than the main walks around here but most definitely worth a visit.
                      An additional point of interest is it was used as the Bat Cave in the Dark Knight Rises

                        We took a walk to this stunning waterfall, having parked in the nearby car park. It’s a short but steep walk downhill to the waterfall and it had been raining so the path was slippery here and there. You can walk behind the waterfall but there’s a lot of spray so the rocks there are always slippery. Good hiking shoes or boots would be safest. The waterfall is a very beautiful sight, well worth the walk to get to it.
